Childminding News

We have received clarification from the DEASP that childminders can apply for the DEASP Pandemic Unemployment Payments of €203 as a self-employed person who has been making their contributions. This payment can last for 6 weeks during which time Job Seekers can be applied for. This applies to childminders who are not currently operating.

We have also received confirmation that the Childminding Development Grant for 2020 will be delayed until later in the year due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation.

Please be further advised that all SDCCC staff are working remotely and are available at all time for advise and support, through phone and email. Email

In the meantime, stay safe and well.
