South Dublin County Childcare Committee offers support and information to enable families to access childcare within the county and also support to childcare providers.
The National Childcare Scheme provides subsidies to help parents meet the cost of quality Early Learning and Care and School Age Childcare.
The Access and Inclusion Model (AIM) is a model of supports helping children with disabilities to access the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Programme.
First 5 is a whole-of-Government strategy to improve the lives of babies, young children and their families. It is a ten-year plan to help make sure all children have positive early experiences and get a great start in life.
These aim of these 2 programmes is to to develop the quality of our early years curriculums and in doing so, to better support children’s learning and development.
The National Child Safeguarding Programme is where to find all child protection resources for Early Learning and Care services including training.
The Early Childhood Care and Education Scheme provides early childhood care and education for pre-school children. All children are entitled to 2 full academic years.
