The DCEDIY have confirmed the launch of the 2021 Learner Fund Graduate and Childminder Bursary.
The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) will re-open the Learner Fund Bursary to Early Learning and Care practitioners who are new graduates of a recognised Early Childhood Education and Care degree programme.
South Dublin County Childcare Committee will process and appraise Learner Fund Graduate Bursary applications for our area.

In respect Learner Fund Graduate applications, the following process applies:

Applications are open Monday 16th August 2021 and deadline for acceptance of applications is Friday 1st October 2021 5pm.
Official Transcripts only will be accepted in place of a certificate. These are stamped and signed by the college and must be requested from the college.
Print outs from the student portal will not be accepted. Official transcripts can take up to 4 weeks to be sent once requested.
N.B. – We would suggest applicants who have not yet been conferred apply to their college for official transcripts asap.
